Subjoy Ride is a video based on the poem Subjoy Ride: Ready to wear American Soul Poetry, written by dada poet Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Lorinhoven between 1920 – 1922, while she was living in New York City. Inspired by the ready-made, found-text, collage nature of the original poem, this video employs an eclectic range of archival footage, sourced from the Prelinger Archives.
